He has received numerous civic, community and governmental awards for his extensive work, which attests to the substantial impact Dr. Ford has in the community. He received the 2014 City of Douglasville Outstanding Citizen Award, 2014 Recognition Proclamation from Douglas County Board of Commissioners and named Douglas County 2001 Citizen of the Year.
